Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne at the exhibition “Hypercars 2. The allure of the Extreme” hosted by the Petersen Museum

The Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne heads to Los Angeles to be on display at the exhibition “Hypercars 2. The allure of the Extreme” hosted by the Petersen Museum.

Located in the Bruce Meyer Gallery, the exhibition features a selection of 14 vehicles, including the first Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne delivered in the United States. This unique sample delves into the concept of “hypercar” and its attributes.

The exhibition, which has already opened its doors, will last until May 24th, 2023.

Hispano Suiza will also take part in the Petersen Museum’s 28th Annual Gala dinner to be held on Saturday, October 1st. During the dinner, a Hispano Suiza Experience will be auctioned off among the 600 attendees. It includes, among other activities, a test drive with the Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne in the surroundings of the picturesque Peralada Castle and a visit to the New Winery, designed by RCR architecture studio and the first in Europe with a LEED GOLD sustainability certificate.

All proceedings will be donated to the Petersen Museum Foundation.

Hispano Suiza receives ‘Legacy, Spirit & Style’ award at The New York City Concours

New York, 20 September 2022. Hispano Suiza has received the ‘Legacy, Spirit & Style’ award given by the organization of The New York City Concours.

For Sergio Martínez Campos, CEO of Hispano Suiza, “this award recognizes the legacy, style and unique spirit of our cars and shows the great interest that the brand raises in the American market.”

Thirty classic cars and motorcycles participated in the contest, which kicked off men’s fashion style month, as well as 31 establishments from the Madison Avenue shopping district.

The first unit of the Carmen Boulogne to arrive in the US took pride of place amongst the classic cars on display. The Boulogne pays tribute to the heritage of Hispano Suiza in the world of motorsport. Building on its sibling’s credentials, the Carmen Boulogne boasts 820kW (1,114PS) of power, a top speed of 290km/h (180mph) and accelerates from 0-100km/h in less than 2.6 seconds.

Hispano Suiza to ‘electrify’ The New York City Concours

Barcelona, September 8, 2022. After the Monterey Car Week, Hispano Suiza heads to New York to take part in “The New York City Concours”. This year the event organisers have accepted the invitation from the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District to be the featured attraction of their Men´s Style Month. Madison Avenue is the main luxury district in the United States, where the most important fashion and jewelry boutiques are located, as well as internationally famous hotels and restaurants. Located in the Upper East Side area of Manhattan, just a few meters from Central Park, it constitutes an incomparable setting for “The New York City Concours”.

Sponsored by Hispano Suiza, “The New York City Concours” will showcase more than 30 classic and exotic vehicles as well as 12 motorcycles on 72 nd Street between Madison and Fifth Avenue. Along with them, the Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne who will be shown for the first time in the big Apple. “The United States is a strategic market for Hispano Suiza” says Sergio Martínez Campos CEO of Hispano Suiza. “After Miami and Monterey, this will be our first time in New York. And I can’t imagine a better venue than this revamped edition of The New York City Concours on Madison Avenue, one of the top fashion and style destinations in the world. The United States, a strategic market for Hispano Suiza after Monterey Car Week

Monterey, August 23, 2022. Hispano Suiza finalized its participation in the Monterey Car Week. Throughout the week, the brand took part in various exclusive events that turn this area of California in an epicenter for automotive fans, collectors and potential buyers.

“Motorlux”, held at the Monterey Jet Center, marked the beginning of the Monterey Car Week. The first Hispano Suiza car delivered in the United States, a Carmen Boulogne painted in one-off Ocean Song Rose color, was displayed in the so-called “Electric Avenue” before 3,000 visitors, as the excellence in automotive, aviation and gastronomy gathered together, three highly important components of the Hispano Suiza DNA.

In addition, Francesc Arenas, Design Director of Hispano Suiza, took part in a panel organized by the Petersen Museum on the “Future of Electric Vehicle Design” at the renowned Pebble Beach Beach&Tennis Club. The autonomous car and the changes that it will entail for the interiors focused part of the interventions. Arenas stressed that “biometrics will allow managing the necessary relationship between human and artificial intelligence”.

The pillar of this Monterey Car Week has been “The Quail, a Motorsport Gathering”, held at the renowned Quail Lodge & Golf Club. Hispano Suiza showcased its Carmen Boulogne on a stand that captured the attention of personalities such as the Swedish former Formula 1 driver Stefan Johansson and one of the best known automotive TikTokers in the world, Daniel Mac (@itsdanielmac with nearly 13 million followers).

Hispano Suiza finalised its participation in the Monterey Car Week with the “Exotics on Broadway” exhibition, thanks to its partnership agreement with Michelin. Since the inaugural event in 2015, Exotics has grown from a small gathering of supercars to the event with the highest attendance during Monterey Car Week. Focused entirely on the Super, Hyper and Exotic Car phenomenon, the event takes place on Broadway Avenue in the Monterey County town of Seaside.

Hispano Suiza’s presence in the United States is gathering momentum, having participated in five events this year in the United States, since its first showcase at The Amelia last March.

Monterey Car week: next stop for Hispano Suiza in the United States

Barcelona, August 1, 2022. Hispano Suiza sets sail again for the United States to take part in the Monterey Car Week, which will take place between August 17 and 21. During this week, Monterey and its surroundings become the epicenter of the automotive world. Every year, around 100,000 car enthusiasts, fans, collectors, celebrities and, of course, manufacturers participate in this event showcasing the most exclusive vehicles in the world.

The curtain opens on Wednesday, August 17 with “Motorlux”, an event that marks the beginning of the Monterey Car Week and that takes over from the McCall’s Motorworks Revival.


The following day, Thursday August 18, Hispano Suiza will participate in a conference organized by the Petersen Museum on the “Future of Electric Vehicle Design”. The company’s Director of Design, Francesc Arenas, will present his vision along with other prominent voices from the industry.

On Friday, August 19, Hispano Suiza will be at “The Quail, a Motorsport Gathering”, an exclusive exhibition located in an incomparable setting: the gardens of the Quail Lodge & Golf Club in the picturesque city of Carmel.

The grand finale will be on Saturday the 20th, when Hispano Suiza will be present, thanks to its partnership with Michelin, at the “Exotics on Broadway”, a unique event open to the public, focused on supercars, hypercars and exotic cars.

Hispano Suiza debuts at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

Goodwood, 23 June 2022. Hispano Suiza made its official debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed today, one of the largest automotive events in the world. The iconic Spanish brand attended the event in the South of England, thanks to its partnership agreement with Michelin.

Hispano Suiza participates in the Goodwood Festival of Speed with the Carmen, the 750kW electric hypercar which heralded the return of the brand to the automotive world in 2019, equipped for the occasion with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.

Luis Perez-Sala, Hispano Suiza Ambassador and former Formula 1 driver, drove up Goodwood Hill for the very first time: “The hillclimb its very entertaining, full of fast bends and the slope is quite steep. The Carmen behaved very well, and I am looking forward to driving it again”. The iconic hypercar will take part in the hillclimb twice a day, with Spanish driver Pérez-Sala behind the wheel.

More than 100,000 spectators are due to attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend and they will be able to admire the Hispano Suiza Carmen in the Michelin Supercar Paddock.
